Get to Know Vic Meyer, Market Director

Meet Vic, Market Director and new HLC team member!

Vic Meyer joined Holt Lunsford Commercial in 2022 and serves as Market Director in the Fort Worth Office division. His primary role with HLC is office project leasing, tenant representation, acquisitions, and investment sales in the greater Fort Worth market. Vic presently represents Landlords in over 1.75M SF of rentable space and is actively growing HLC’s Fort Worth footprint.

Prior to joining HLC, Vic was an Associate at Stream Realty Partners where he was responsible for lease and sale negotiations, market analysis, and strategic planning for both private and institutional clients. During his time in real estate, Vic has participated in transactions valued at over $98,500,000.

Vic received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas Christian University (TCU) where he studied Sociology, Business, and Energy Technology & Management. He is involved in local organizations including Stewards of The Wild (a Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation affiliate) where he serves on the Advisory Committee, Cliburn 180°, F3 Nation, the Greeting Committee for the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, Christ Chapel Bible Church, and is a lifetime member of the National Eagle Scout Association.

What brought you to HLC?
The “inch wide and a mile deep” mentality has established HLC as a powerhouse in Dallas-Fort Worth, the state of Texas, and beyond. With that in mind, when an opportunity was presented to join the HLC team, I seized it.

How do you hope to grow at HLC?
I hope to grow in every leadership arena of life (Faith, Family, Business, Community, and Self).

Which HLC value resonates the most with you and why?
HLC’s High Why – “to build a business that glorifies God through our employees, customers, and vendors.” HLC’s emphasis on Christianity, in a company of this size, is unmatched in the industry. This is our ultimate calling.

What three words would you use to describe the HLC culture?
Faith, professionalism and integrity.

What are three interesting things about you that we wouldn’t learn from your resume?
My wife and I are expecting our first child this fall and she will be a sixth generation Texan; I enjoy the outdoors more than the indoors; and I have an ancestor who fought in the American Revolutionary War.

How do you define success?
By obtaining equilibrium as a leader in faith, family, business, community, and self.

How do you like to spend your free time?
My favorite place in the world to spend free time is at our family ranch in Marfa, Texas.

Favorite ice cream flavor?
Blue Bell Ice Cream: Cookie Two Step.

What superpower would you like to have?
­­Flight.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you?
Fresh water, food, and shelter. In that order.

What was the last gift you gave someone?
­I gave my wife a new fishing rod and spinning reel for her birthday

If you had to choose, what would your last meal be? No limits.
A cheeseburger with fries.
