Training Program

Continuing education and training is key for HLC to live up to its value statement to be the “Preferred Professional Real Estate Provider in the Industry”. The training, mentoring, and setting high expectations for our people will ensure that we are all successful in our endeavors individually as well as corporately.

At HLC we continually hold training sessions specific to each department in an effort for our employees to become more proficient in their current position or to prepare them for a better chance at a promotion. HLC offers a variety of training sessions for our property managers, administrative personnel, engineering, accounting, construction, and leasing teams all designed to enhance and advance the careers of our people.

HLC promotes nationally recognized and respected professional designations such as SIOR, CCIM, CPA, CPM, RPA, SMA, and LEED. Many of our experts have been certified in their fields positioning themselves above our competition.

Analyst Program

The HLC Analyst Program is designed to introduce young professionals to the commercial real estate industry by providing ‘hands-on’ experiences at the start of their careers. HLC’s Analysts learn about day-to-day business functions and decision making processes of the organization, as well as direct interaction with all levels of management.

The Analyst Program will develop the three major competencies necessary for a successful career in commercial real estate: market knowledge, financial knowledge, and the keys to forging business relationships. These essential proficiencies require a solid foundation knowledge in order to be successful in a career at HLC.

Summer Intern Program

HLC offers a ten week rotational program designed to provide undergraduate and graduate students with a hands-on experience in the commercial real estate industry. Participants can expect to be immersed in our firm’s unique culture, while experiencing the realities of being an Analyst at HLC.
