Meet Luke Floyd, Market Analyst and new HLC Team Member!
Luke Floyd joined Holt Lunsford Commercial in 2023 and serves as a Market Analyst for the Dallas Industrial Division. He is responsible for assisting in project leasing assignments and marketing business development efforts of the Industrial Team and other HLC clients.
After growing up in Fort Worth, Luke left Texas to attend the University of South Carolina, where he earned his BA in economics. In his free time, Luke enjoys hunting, fishing and playing guitar.
What brought you to HLC?
Last year I became an intern after talking to Walker. I kept in contact with Canon after that and then this job opportunity opened up.
How do you hope to grow at HLC?
I want to become more confident in my abilities, not only to produce but to help people. At the end of the day, I think it is cool that you are not only producing and making money, but you are also helping people start their businesses. I like that there is more to it than the money.
What about your role at HLC most excites or interests you?
I am excited to get started, get involved in leasing and learn new things.
Which HLC value resonates the most with you and why?
We seek to build trust. Trust is really important. Real Estate is a close community and word travels fast. It is important to be trustworthy.
What three words would you use to describe the HLC culture?
Motivated. Intentional. Fun.
Who or what inspires you?
Becoming a better version of myself or providing a better service for someone is motivating. I will always have something I can work on and critique. I am glad to be in an environment where people will not point out my faults but provide better solutions.
What are three interesting things about you that we wouldn’t learn from your resume?
I love to scuba dive, play guitar, and joke around.
How do you like to spend your free time?
I work out, read, pay guitar, Hang out with friends
Where is the furthest you’ve traveled?
New Zealand or Antarctica
