Urban Logistics Realty to Break Ground on a New Class A Industrial Development in Denton

Holt Lunsford Commercial (HLC) has been selected to market a new industrial park in Denton, Texas.

Urban District 35, a 440,663 SF, four (4) building, Class A warehouse project, is expected to be delivered during this year’s last quarter. It will feature 28- to 32-foot clear heights, 60-foot speed bays, and generous car and trailer parking.

“We are thrilled to bring this project to the market,” Andrew Gilbert, HLC Dallas Industrial Market Director, said. “This will be an incredible development for the city on a historical land site.”

Developed by Urban Logistics Realty, the business park will be constructed adjacent to the more than century-old site of Denton’s ACME Brick Co. plant. The Denton brick factory opened in 1901 and was purchased by Acme Brick in 1912. The new warehouses will be constructed between the freeway and the existing plant.

“We feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to play a small role in the evolution of this historical piece of industrial land,” Urban Logistics Realty’s Jason Nunley said in a statement. “This has been a strategic location for over 100 years, and we are excited to see that tradition continue with the Urban District 35 project.”

Urban District 35 is set to break ground in January.
