Martin Powers & Counsel, PLLC, a woman-owned and -led business law firm providing end-to-end legal services for businesses in the DFW area, has signed a 5,500 SF lease at The Embassy in Irving, Texas, doubling their current footprint. Quinn Hanford and John Armes of Holt Lunsford Commercial represented the tenant in the transaction while Matt Hurlbut of Foundry Commercial represented the owner.
“Martin Powers is a woman-owned law firm that we worked hard for from beginning to end,” Hanford said. “They are growing rapidly. We hit the market and ultimately found a white box suite with a great view that will allow for creativity on layout and design throughout the construction process to support their collaborative approach to legal services. John and I worked alongside the Martin Powers team to project future growth and right size their office footprint while ensuring we did not assume more space than the firm needed at this time. They were a great group to work with and we look forward to maintaining a relationship together.”
The Embassy office building is located at 1431 Greenway Drive, adjacent to DFW International Airport. Recent building renovations include the lobby, common area corridors, restrooms, and exterior facade. The 197,239 SF property features a new tenant lounge and conference facility, deli, covered parking garage, and on-site management and engineering. The Embassy is close to many hotels and restaurants and provides easy access to Highways 161 and 114.
“The HLC team was excellent to work with,” said Meagan Powers, Managing Partner at Martin Powers & Counsel, PLLC. “We had a unique set of requirements. They not only found us the right space, Quinn and John helped us get the right terms that will make The Embassy our long-term home as we continue to grow.”
