What brought you to HLC?
My dad works in real estate, so I grew up around it. That sparked my interest in the industry, and I got my real estate license when I started looking for a job. I met with Tyler Howarth and Holden Lunsford and things went from there. I was initially attracted to HLC because of the values and Christian-based culture which is in line with my personal values and beliefs. And I knew I was going to get to work with a bunch of great people!

How do you hope to grow at HLC?
I want to expand my knowledge of real estate and become an expert in Tenant Representation in the Dallas area. I also want to grow personally.

What about your role here at HLC most excites or interests you?
I really like talking with people about real estate, and I like to be out of the office meeting and working with clients.

Which HLC value resonates the most with you and why?
We Seek to Build Trust. “Trust takes years to build, seconds to break, and forever to repair.” We must be truthful in what we do. Trust is the biggest factor when working with clients, and when there is trust we are able to do our job more effectively.

What three words would you use to describe the HLC culture?
Energetic, hard-working, and fun.

How do you define success?
Besides “making it” financially, if you’re well-rounded, have a good home life, and you’re right in your faith, that is a successful life.

How do you like to spend your free time?
Hanging out with friends, golfing, enjoying outdoor activities and exercising.

What are three interesting things about you that we wouldn’t learn from your resume?
I like to make salsa. I’ve been on mission trips to Houston, Kentucky and Jamaica. I’m really into college football.

What inspires you?
My family. My parents worked hard to help me get to where I am today, and I want to do the same for my future family.

Everyone has a good app idea, what’s yours?
NFL RedZone for college sports.

Favorite quote?
“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.” Tim Notke

What superpower would you like to have?
The ability to read minds.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you?
Clean water. Fire starting kit. Gun with unlimited ammo.

What could you teach me to do in the next five minutes?
Make salsa.

If you could steal credit for any great piece of art, song, film, book, etc., which one would you claim?
The Mona Lisa.

If you could be any animal in the world, which animal would you be and why?
A monkey, because I like bananas.

Last meal?
Chili’s Triple Dipper! And molten chocolate cake for dessert.
