What brought you to HLC?
After one of my soccer games as sophomore at UD, a security guard that I knew introduced me to Will Narduzzi, Insurance Account Executive for HLC. I was interested in real estate, and I guess the word had gotten around. The security guard knew Will and thought introducing us would be a good idea, and as it turns out, he was right! I started meeting people at HLC through Will, one thing led to another, and here I am.

How do you hope to grow at HLC?
HLC presents a great opportunity to employees to grow in all facets – professionally, personally and spiritually. HLC builds you up in every facet of life, and I want to take it by the reins and absorb everything I can.

Which HLC value resonates the most with you and why?
We Seek to Build Trust. Whether it’s with clients, family or friends, trust is your foundation. Trust is a huge player in life and leads to deeper, more meaningful relationships.

What three words would you use to describe the HLC culture?
Energetic, exciting and exhilarating.

If you could tell one person “thank you” for helping you become the person you are today, who would it be and why?
My mom. She takes on challenges and puts her best foot forward. She puts others first and is always ready to help. When my sisters and I were growing up, she paused her professional career to raise us. Now she has gone back to school to become an RN, but still makes the time for all of us. She is so strong and resilient, she does it all!

How do you define success?
Enjoyment of where you are in your professional and personal situation and being able to share it with those that you love. Money is important but being in a happy place with family and loved ones is really it.

What are three interesting things about you that we wouldn’t learn from your resume?
I have six sisters. I can understand and also speak a little of the Nigerian language, Igbo. I’ve traveled to 10 different countries.

How do you like to spend your free time?
Playing soccer, golfing, hanging out with friends, watching ESPN and Netflix.

What is your favorite ice cream?
Blue Bell’s Cookie Two Step.

What would you invent if you could?
A laundry machine that washes, dries and folds your clothes.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you?
My buddies. A huge house. A helicopter full of gas.

If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?
A black jaguar because they are unique and sleek.

What superpower would you like to have?
The ability to read minds.

Last meal?
An 8 oz. sirloin, lobster tail, truffle mac and cheese, asparagus and a cold beer.

Welcome to HLC Chima, we are glad you are here!
