McCormack Commercial, a Houston-based commercial real estate firm, has broken ground on a premier Class-A industrial park in North Fort Worth. When fully developed, Meacham Commerce Center will total 1,311,911 square feet over four buildings situated on approximately 80 acres. The site boasts cutting edge design features and building amenities, including 36-40’ clear heights, cross dock and rear load configurations, internal circulation drives and above market trailer positions and car parks providing today’s Class-A industrial tenant a best-in-class experience. The property will be leased by Matt Carthey and George Jennings of Holt Lunsford Commercial.
Strategically located at the southwest corner of Meacham Boulevard and I-35W, the site’s eastern border is situated along I-35W just minutes from Loop-820, I-30 and I-20, making it easily accessible to travel hubs such as Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, Meacham International Airport and the BNSF Intermodal.
“We are honored to partner with McCormack Commercial on this first-class project,” said Matt Carthey, Partner and Managing Principal for Holt Lunsford Commercial. “While quality infill sites in North Fort Worth are becoming difficult to come by, Meacham Commerce Center is coming to market at the perfect time. The project is a great complement to the existing North Fort Worth industrial submarket and will allow for continued expansion of existing tenants while also attracting new users to the market. In addition to state-of-the-art building amenities, the project has the potential to offer multiple secured drop lots and unmatched connectivity.”
Kicking off the park will be a 334,750-square-foot cross dock facility situated on 19 acres with 36’ CH, 240 car parks and 103 trailer positions. The construction for Meacham Commerce Center Building 1 is expected to be completed early Q3 2022 and future buildings 2-4 are being marketed simultaneously as build-to-suit sites.
“McCormack Commercial is excited to enter the booming Fort Worth industrial/retail submarket with what will be our first of four buildings at Meacham Commerce Center,” Danny McCormack, founding Principal of McCormack Commercial, said in a statement. “The Fort Worth labor market is exceptional and has been growing steadily with all indications that it will continue that trend in 2022 and beyond. Our initial 334,750-square-foot cross dock can serve a variety of tenant types and is located next to Interstate 35W in sight of Interstate 820. Potential tenants can benefit from Triple Freeport Tax Exemptions along with the ability to secure FTZ designation upon qualifying.”
