Meet Alan Rose, Fort Worth Office Market Associate and new HLC team member!
Alan was born in Texas and grew up in Arlington. He attended college at the University of Alabama where he received two degrees, a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Geology.
After spending time working in the oil and gas industry in Oklahoma (including some training in Abu Dhabi), Alan decided that real estate was what he wanted to do long term and headed back home to Arlington. He got his start with Peyco Southwest Realty, Inc. where he was involved in brokerage, zoning consulting, property management and property tax consulting.
In his role as a market analyst for HLC, Alan is focused on office leasing in the Arlington and Mid-cities markets. He is experienced in tenant, buyer, and landlord representation and in lease negotiations.
What brought you to HLC?
I want to focus on brokerage and work for a company in which I can learn and grow. HLC has an incredible reputation in the brokerage community, and I’m excited to work with some of the best in the industry.
What do you bring to the table for HLC?
My diversity in commercial real estate is a strength; in my last position I was exposed to many aspects of CRE and have a wide variety of experience.
What about your role at HLC most excites or interests you?
I really enjoy meeting new people. I’m excited about having the opportunity to do that, plus learn more about the people I already know and help them achieve their goals.
What three words would you use to describe the HLC culture?
Integrity-based, knowledgeable, enjoyable.
How do you define success?
By my ability to help others reach their goals.
How do you spend your free time?
I love being outdoors, whether it’s fly fishing or taking a bike ride with my fiancé.
Everyone has a good app idea. What’s yours?
I can’t tell you that, it’s a secret!
What could you teach me to do in 5 minutes?
Cast a fly rod.
If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?
An elephant. Because “Roll Tide!” (of course), and elephants are extremely protective of their own.
What is the last gift you gave someone?
The engagement ring I gave my fiancé on July 6th!
If you could steal credit for any great piece of art, song, film, book etc., which one would it be?
The movie, “Forrest Gump.”
Family recipe of chicken and dumplings, with crème brûlée for dessert.
Welcome to HLC Alan, we are glad you are here!
